I was greatly shocked and deeply grieved upon hearing the news of
the passing away of His Holiness Pope Paul VI.
On behalf of the Government and the People of Indonesia as well as
on my own, I wish to convey my profound condolences. May His soul
rest in Peace.

In the annals of history the name of His Holiness Pope Paul VI
will be synonymous with mankind's eternai quest for lasting peace
and justice on earth. Mrs. Malik joins me in offering our sincere
