History, Math, Science, English, and Foreign Languages, and help your strengths stand<br />

out on your college application. <strong>SAT</strong> Subject <strong>Tests</strong> are offered throughout <strong>the</strong> year, typically<br />

taken in <strong>the</strong> Spring, and are an hour long. Some colleges also use Subject <strong>Tests</strong> to place<br />

students into appropriate courses. Some schools require one or more Subject <strong>Tests</strong>, so be<br />

sure to check your target college's website to find out. If you are doing well in an AP class,<br />

consider taking <strong>the</strong> Subject Test related it. Studying <strong>for</strong> your AP exams is a great way to<br />

start studying <strong>for</strong> Subject <strong>Tests</strong>.<br />

Ta ke <strong>the</strong> AP exam as soon as you complete your cou rse and have <strong>the</strong> scores sent to your<br />

college. Look on line or call your target college's Admissions Department to find out how your<br />

AP credits can be applied at your college. Scoring well on an AP exam can earn you college<br />

credit that may allow you to graduate early or place out of an introductory-level course.
