Next to <strong>the</strong> passage are alternatives <strong>for</strong> each underlined portion. Select <strong>the</strong> one that best conveys<br />

<strong>the</strong> idea, creates <strong>the</strong> most grammatically correct sentence, or is most consistent with <strong>the</strong> style and<br />
