<strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Beijing, May 17, 2004: Last night, <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>'s Drama<br />

Club received a big success for the first round <strong>of</strong> its new play ―Fly‖. Devoting all their<br />

talents and passions, the actors did provide a brilliant performance. In return, the<br />

audiences kept applauding for nearly three minutes at the curtain call.<br />

The script <strong>of</strong> ―Fly‖ was originated by Paul Sartre, one <strong>of</strong> the most famous<br />

philosophers in the 20th century. The original work was a tragedy story about the<br />

commitment <strong>of</strong> murders and revenges taking place in the Ancient Greek royals.<br />

Recomposed and directed by He Ye, a former graduate from <strong>PKU</strong>, the play took on a<br />

brand-new look for the audience.<br />

―On the premise <strong>of</strong> preserving the basic plot, we tried reprogramming the play on the<br />
