<strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Beijing, Nov. 4th (2005): ‗The 2005 Graduate Affairs Conference<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>‘ was held in the overseas Exchange Center <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />

at 9:00 am on Nov. 4th 2005. <strong>PKU</strong> President Xu Zhihong addressed as a conclusion.<br />

The Executive Vice Dean <strong>of</strong> the Institute <strong>of</strong> Graduate Student, Zhang Guoyou,<br />

reported about the operation <strong>of</strong> graduate schools <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong> in 2005 firstly.<br />

Some delegates from different colleges reported their main developments in their<br />

graduate affairs. On the conference, Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Chen Erqiang from the Institute <strong>of</strong><br />

Chemistry reported their new course set up to bring up the morality and proprieties in<br />

academia. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Gao Dai from Institute <strong>of</strong> History reported their adjustment<br />

about the select system <strong>of</strong> the tutor <strong>of</strong> a Ph. D. student. The Vice Dean <strong>of</strong> the<br />
