PKU 10th Anniversary of HK‘s Return
of Sovereignty to the Mainland Begins

Peking University, Beijing, Mar. 27th, 2007: The PKU 10th anniversary of HK‘s return
of sovereignty to the Mainland will begin on 29th March 2007 in the campus.
In order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of HK‘s return of sovereignty to the
Mainland, PKU has organized a series of activities, including academic conferences,
panel discussions, picture exhibitions, student communication activities and visits of
HK celebrities.
The activities organized by Hong Kong Cultural Association include the case study
competition co-organized by HK ICAC named ―Developing the Integrity, Creating the
Future‖; exhibition of ―Hong Kong Story‖; HK Food Festival which promotes the
Cantonese cuisine culture; broadcast radio show ―Our Hong Kong, Our Words‖;
―Before and After Return of HK in movies‖; seminar ―Successful Story‖, etc. This is
one of the biggest events of clubs and societies organized by current PKU students
from Hong Kong until now.
The opening ceremony will be on 29th March at 2pm and it will be held in the PKU
Hall.
