never forget the sacrifice and dedication of the revolutionists and the founders of
PRC. Since the foundation of Peking University in 1898, it had bounded its own fate
with that of the nation‘s and brought up a large population of well-educated people
for the economic and social development of the country. He also believed that the
exhibition would be a great chance for everyone at PKU to receive a meaningful
patriotic education.
The exhibition attracted a large group of faculty and students. They expressed their
sincere gratitude and great admiration for the founders of P.R.C. students have
expressed that without the founder of P.R.C.‘s courage, persistence and sense of
responsibility for the whole nation, our safe and peaceful life today would be
impossible. Students also spoke highly of the exhibition as an effective way for them
to appreciate calligraphy, paintings and other forms of Chinese art while getting to
know the relatives and support of those great people better.
After the ceremony, relatives of the founders of the nation toured the exhibition
accompanied by President Xu and other officers from Peking University.
