Li Jinfeng – Outstanding Graduate of

Peking University, Beijing, Apr. 16th, 2005: Li Jingfeng graduated from Beijing
Institute of Technology in 2007, and then entered into Peking University (PKU) to
pursue a doctorate. She had won the third prize of 2004 National College English
Competition, the third prize in the 9th National College Extra-curricular Academic
Work Competition, Bronze Prize in the 5th College Students Venture Competition
and so on. She has always been Enthusiastic about social welfare undertakings and
all kinds of voluntary service activities. She has made great contribution to
environmental protection by actively participating in environmental protection
activities.
Such a seemingly ordinary girl has got so many honors and awards. But what is the
drive force for her to do so much work? She is a hard-working girl, always trying her
best in everything. Referring to honor, she said she just has a pure and caring heart,
with a dream of environment protection. Her dream started when she was still a little
girl in her hometown where the environment was seriously polluted. Living in such a
place, she was highly aware of the difficulty of living in a polluted environment. So
she had already made up her mind to devote herself to environment protection in
junior school.
To make her dream come true, she chose Environment Engineering as her major in
college. Besides learning Professional knowledge, she took part in various
environment protecting activities, planned and organized lectures on technological
knowledge. Dream is not always beautiful. She had encountered much difficulty and
misunderstanding while doing her work. But she has the confidence that as time
goes by, more and more people will realize the importance of environment
protection. Last summer, Jinfeng decided to be a lifetime volunteer in Green Camp to
promote natural experience.
Jingfeng is always ready to help others. She takes her time to do every kinds of
volunteering work. She had even devoted her blood for twelve times.
