<strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Beijing, Dec. 25th, 2008: On December 19th and 20th, the 4th<br />
China Media Innovation Annual Conference was held at <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, jointly<br />
organized by Communication Magazine, School <strong>of</strong> Journalism and Communication<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, and Tsinghua <strong>University</strong>.<br />
The theme <strong>of</strong> this year‘s conference is ―Reform, Innovation and Development‖. The<br />
deputy director <strong>of</strong> State Press and Publication Administration, Li Dongdong,<br />
honorary president <strong>of</strong> China journalists' association, dean <strong>of</strong> School <strong>of</strong> Journalism<br />
and Communication <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Shao Huaze, dean <strong>of</strong> School <strong>of</strong> Journalism<br />
and Communication <strong>of</strong> Tsinghua <strong>University</strong>, Fan Jingyi, deputy director <strong>of</strong><br />
Press and Publication Administration, Wang Guoqing, executive vice president <strong>of</strong><br />

300 senior staff in media reviewed the development <strong>of</strong> media industry; shared<br />
experience in the past 30 years, and discussed the possible strategies to deal with<br />

anniversary <strong>of</strong> China‘s reform and opening-up policy, the guests discussed with<br />
