PKU Campus Open Day 2007 Held

Peking University, Beijing, April 13, 2007: PKU Campus Open Day and Recruitment
Policy Consultation Conference were held on the main campus and the medical
school at the same time.
At the Centennial Commemorative Hall during 8:30-9:30 and 10:00-11:00, two
conferences were held separately to introduce the education and teaching condition
and important students recruitment policies of PKU. PKU leaders and officials from
the Admissions Office and Beijing Recruitment Committee answered all the
questions from senior high school students and their parents face to face. On the
square outside the Hall, colleges and departments of PKU set up exhibition stands to
answer inquiries about the recruitment.
Some other universities also came to introduce their recruitment policies during
8:00-14:00 on the square outside the Hall, such as University of Hong Kong, City
University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Sichuan University,
Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Various associations of PKU showed themselves during 8:00-14:00 on campus. The
PKU colleges and schools, national key labs, library and museums were open to
society on the Open Day as well.
The PKU Campus Open Day has been held annually since the year of 2001. It aims
to provide a platform for communication between PKU and the society, so that senior
high school students and their parents can know more exactly and comprehensively
about PKU and its recruitment policies.
