<strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Beijing, Oct. 29th (2005): ‗Forum <strong>of</strong> the Red Army spirit‘<br />

inaugurated in the Overseas Exchange Center <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong> at 9:30 am on<br />

Oct. 29th 2005. <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong> and the Red Army Theme Park organize this<br />

conference together.<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Liang Zhu from College <strong>of</strong> Marxism <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong> addressed firstly<br />

to celebrate the inauguration. Then the board chairman <strong>of</strong> the Red Army Theme Park<br />

Yang Huashan introduced the purpose <strong>of</strong> originating ‗Forum <strong>of</strong> the Red Army spirit‘,<br />

which is to promote the Red Army spirit.<br />

Many former soldiers in the Red Army presented this forum. Three generals <strong>of</strong> them<br />

told <strong>of</strong> their stories during the Long March days and explained their understanding<br />

about the Red Army spirit. The former vice-commander in chief <strong>of</strong> the air force <strong>of</strong> the<br />

People‘s Liberation Army Luo Yuanfa recalled the hardship <strong>of</strong> the Long March. Gen.<br />
