Sokolov et al. [29] analysed characteristics of ground motion correlation using thedatabase accumulated in Taiwan. The results reported by these studies reveal different rates ofdecay of the correlation with separation distance. It has been shown that the differences relateto the frequency content of ground motion [25, 30]. On the other hand, the differences may becaused by regional peculiarities [28, 29].
