get more difficult 10 . From 1922, those who harbored a sense of belonging<br />

to the romanian people, through calls, memos, letters to the brethren and<br />

the Bucharest authority have requested support to settle in the “Mother<br />

Country”, romania.<br />

Although first initiatives and actual actions on immigration belonged<br />

to the Aromanians and Meglenoromanians from Greece, respectively<br />

from the Veria, Vodena and Meglenia regions, very surprisingly, early<br />

immigrants did not come from here, but all the way from Albania, from<br />

pleasa town. they arrived in Bucharest on 20 July 1925, to be given land<br />

in southern dobrudja. on 26 october 1925, by water, with the iaţi ship,<br />

other 200 families from Albania, please, Disnita and Stropani arrived in<br />

constanţa to be given land in the same part of the country 11 .<br />

In early 1926, some Aromanian 12 and Meglonoromanian 13 families<br />
