thracian, while the latter seems to have received his roman name after
Constitutio Antoniniana. It is highly probable, as will be noted with some
other examples below, that Αὐρ(ήλιος) Σώστρατος Δοληους belonged to
the wealthy level of the society in philippopolis consisting of thracians
and Greeks who received roman citizenship and names after constitutio
Antoniniana.

As we may note Τιβ(έριος) Κλαύδιος Πασίνους Μουκιανοῦ belongs
to the group with the earliest imperial romanization of non-royal
thracians which included only a part of the thracian aristocracy. Since
the inscription informing us of this person was set up in the second or third
century, he may be a descendent of a veteran, but also a descendent of an
eastern provincial: he may also have belonged to the thracian aristocracy
romanized during the reign of claudius. The cognomen Πασίνους is found
in Greece, especially the islands, 89 but also in Syria. the name of his father
