his possession of the book, dignitary Pătraşco costin wrote on the 22 nd of<br />

February 1687 on the Polish Chronicle: “to let all know to whom this<br />

book belongs: to dignitary Pătraşco costin. And he was a dignitary during<br />

the times of prince Constantin, while army chief was Velicico” 5 . on the<br />

22 nd of june 1689 Gavril, church singer in Bălţăteşti, „wrote this book<br />

entitled Princely Chronicles since the days of theodosie the Small, on the<br />

expense of master Ion eordachie Cantacozino, and we did everything as<br />

the treasurer desired” 6 . Between 1689 September 1 st and 1690 August 31 st<br />

(7198), theodosie great dignitary of Cozia, bought with 3 coins “this book<br />

which is entitled Prologue” 7 . on the 13 rd of June 1690, prince Constantin<br />

was given „this holy book which is entitled Palia diathnichi, namely the<br />

Bible was to ursu, protohierarch from the princely church” 8 . In 1691 in<br />

Transylvania, over the mountains, a few villagers from ocolişul Mare<br />

bought the holy Gospel, in the days of prince Apaffy Mihai 9 . In the year<br />
