Pubb!peti [Denom. fr. pubba2] occurs only in one phrase (gatt!ni pubb!payam!no) at M i.161 & A
iii.345#402 in meaning "drying again"; at both A pass. the vv. ll. (glosses) are "sukkh!payam!no" and
"pubba -- sadis!ni kurum!no"; to the M. pass. cp. Trenckner's notes on p. 543, with the BB expln of the
word (= pubbabh!va' gamayam!no), also Neumann, Majjh. trsln i.260. The similar passage at S i.8, 10 has
"gatt!ni sukkh!payam!no" as T. reading and "pubb!payam!no" as v. l. BB.
