g!massa); PvA 11 (paris!˚). majjhe chetv! cutting in half J v.387. -- (b) in special dogmatic sense "in the<br />

present state of existence," contrasted with past & future existences (the latter combd as "ubho ant!" at Sn<br />

1040). <strong>The</strong> expln of majjhe in this sense is at Nd1 434: "majjha' vuccati paccuppann! r(p!" etc. (similarly<br />

at Nd2 490). -- Sn 949 (in sequence pubbe majjhe pacch!), 1099 (id.); Dh 348 (pure majjhe pacchato; i. e.<br />

paccuppannesu khandhesu DhA iv.63). -- 4. (nt.) majjha' the middle DhA i.184 (tassa uramajjha'<br />
