Vil!ka (adj.) [perhaps=vilagga (Geiger, P.Gr. § 612), although difficult to connect in meaning] only in f. ˚a:<br />

slender (of waist); the expln with vilagga may refer to a comparison with a creeper (cp. vilambin & J v.215)<br />

as "hanging" ("climbing") i. e. slim, but seems forced. See also vir!gita which is expld in the same way.<br />

<strong>The</strong> word is peculiar to the "J!taka" style. -- J iv.19 (=su&&hu -- vilaggita -- tanu -- majjh!); v.155<br />

(+muduk!; C. expls as sankhitta -- majjh!), 215 (˚majjh!=vilaggasar"r! C.), 506 (velli -- vil!ka --<br />
