"L'Argentine et le timbre-poste", large-format book "IRIS, philatelic reminiscences
of art, history and science", printing works Vaugirard/Paris 1951, volume I,
including eight monochrome pictures approx. 16 x 22 cm with illustrations of
various personalities important for Argentine history, also a faithful reproduction
of the will of José de San Martin, next to each picture on the edge of the
sheet an additional impression of a real issued stamp, which reflects the presented
motif. There is also a block of each stamp image similar to the French
"Epreuve de luxe". A detailed textual treatise completes this modern philatelicbibliophile
rarity with a museum character
