628 work ethic
work ethic
The concept of work ethic is concerned with an
accepted standard of occupational behaviour. From
an individual perspective, work ethic is reflective of
an acquired personal value system whereby underlying
personal beliefs and attitudes help determine
the individual's work ethic. Overall, work ethic is
an accumulation of family influences, situation
factors, morals, experiences and peer influences,
and thus related to professionalism and code
of ethics in tourism.
