evcil hayvan üretimine kıyasla daha az olacağı yenilebilir böcek üretimi tesislerinde kaliteli<br />

protein üretilirken biyolojik atıkların da geri dönüşümü sağlanabilir. Özellikle gelişmekte<br />

olan ülkelerde, küçük maliyetler ile kurulacak olan “böcek çiftlikleri” karlı ve sürdürülebilir<br />

bir işletme modeli olarak değerlendirilirken, hayvan besleme alanında kaliteli protein kaynağı<br />

olarak ta değerlendirilebileceği düşünülmektedir.<br />
