The favored expression among these in <strong>Hebrew</strong> is a construct, ר ָכ ֵנּה ַ יהֵ לֹאֱ (Gen 35:2, etc.). One of these shapes or constructions may be chosen either for<br />

reasons of style or emphasis, or because of linguistic fac<strong>to</strong>rs. Here are some<br />

examples of adjectival constructions:<br />
