comic, Masonry is said to descend from the Babylonians, having been
transmitted from thence through the enslaved Hebrews to the Egyptians. This
statement is similarly confused as the concepts of early Masonic "historians"
who saw the roots of Freemasonry at the creation of the world, at the Flood, in
ancient Egypt, etc. In fact, the "Cabal of Looming Doom" is a melting-pot of
alleged Masonic conspiracies, many of which are still prevalent among the
population.
