Content Protocol • H.263
• Content is shared using the H.263 protocol.
• Use this option when most of the endpoints support H.263 and
some endpoints support H.264.
For more details, see "H.263” on page 3-4.
• H.263 & H.264 Auto Selection (Default)
• Content is shared using H.263 if a mix of H.263-supporting
and H.264-supporting endpoints are connected.
• Content is shared using H.264 if all connected endpoints have
H.264 capability.
For more details, see "H.263 & H.264 Auto Selection (Default
Setting)” on page 3-4.
• H.264 Cascade Optimized
• All Content is shared using the H.264 content protocol and is
optimized for use in Cascaded Conferences. For more details,
see "H.264 Cascade Optimized” on page 3-6.
• H.264 HD
• Ensures high quality Content when most endpoints support
H.264 and HD Resolutions. For more details, see "H.264 HD”
on page 3-5.
Cascade Resolution Select a Cascade Resolution from the drop-down menu.
The Cascade Resolutions that are available for selection are
dependent on the Line Rate and Content Settings that have been
selected for the conference.

Content Channel by Line Rate, Content Settings & Cascade
Resolution” on page 3-8.
Note: This field is only displayed when H.264 Cascade Optimized is
selected as the Content Protocol.
The threshold line rate for HD Resolution Content is the line rate at which the RMX will send
Content at HD1080 Resolution. The default is 768 kbps. When the threshold value is set to 0,
HD720p/ HD1080p resolutions for Content sharing are disabled.
To modify the HD Resolution Content threshold line rate:
