Conferences Pane<br />

The Conferences pane lists all the ongoing conferences from all the MCUs that are connected<br />

and monitored along with their MCU, Status, Conference ID, Start Time and End Time data.<br />

The number of ongoing conferences is displayed in the pane’s title.<br />

The Conferences list toolbar contains the following buttons:<br />

Save Conference<br />

to Template<br />

Delete Conference<br />

New Conference<br />

MCU Name<br />

If Conference Recording is enabled the following buttons are enabled:<br />

• Start/Resume Recording – start/resume recording.<br />

• Stop Recording – stop recording.<br />

• Pause – toggles with the Start/Resume button.<br />

Monitoring conferences<br />

New conferences run on MCUs selected for Monitoring are automatically added to the<br />

Conferences list. You can sort the conferences by MCU by clicking the MCU column heading<br />

in the Conferences table. Conferences run on MCUs that are connected but not monitored are<br />

not listed.<br />

Using Windows multiple selection methods to select conferences, participants from several<br />

conferences running on different MCUs can be listed in the Participants list pane.<br />

Starting a new conference<br />

When starting a new conference, you must first select the MCU to run the conference in the<br />

MCUs pane.<br />

The <strong>RMX</strong> Management pane lists the entities of the selected MCU that need to be configured<br />

to enable the <strong>RMX</strong> to run conferences. Only users with Administrators permission can<br />

modify these parameters.<br />

The <strong>RMX</strong> Management pane is divided into two sections:<br />

• Frequently Used – parameters often configured monitored or modified.<br />

• Rarely Used – parameters configured during initial system set-up and rarely modified<br />

afterward.<br />
