Ethernet Settings<br />

In <strong>RMX</strong> 1500/4000, the automatically identified speed and transmit/receive mode of each<br />

LAN port used by the system can be manually modified if the specific switch requires it.<br />

These settings can be modified in the Ethernet Settings dialog box and they are not part of the<br />

Management Network dialog box as for <strong>RMX</strong> <strong>2000</strong>.<br />

<strong>RMX</strong> 1500: The Port numbers displayed in the dialog box do not reflect the physical Port numbers<br />

as labeled on the <strong>RMX</strong> 1500 MCU.<br />

Table 15-12 shows the physical mapping of Port Type to the physical label on the back panel<br />

of the <strong>RMX</strong> 1500.<br />

To modify the automatic LAN port configuration:<br />

1 On the <strong>RMX</strong> menu, click Setup > Ethernet Settings.<br />

The Ethernet Settings dialog box opens.<br />
