Chapter 15-Network Services<br />

All other ISDN Properties can only be modified only by deleting the ISDN/PSTN<br />

network service and creating a new PSTN service using the Fast Configuration Wizard.<br />

For more information, see "To Add an ISDN/PSTN Network Service:” on page 15-36.<br />

3 Click the LAN Ports tab<br />

4 Modify the following fields:<br />

Field Description<br />

Port Speed The <strong>RMX</strong> has 3 LAN ports. The administrator can set the speed and<br />

transmit/receive mode manually for LAN 2 Port only.<br />

Port The LAN port number: 1, 2 or 3.<br />

Note: Do not change the automatic setting<br />

of Port 1 and Port 3. Any change to Port 1 speed will not<br />

be applied.<br />

Speed Select the speed and transmit/receive mode for each<br />

port.<br />

Default: Auto – Negotiation of speed and transmit/<br />

receive mode starts at 1000 Mbits/second Full Duplex,<br />

proceeding downward to 10 Mbits/second Half Duplex.<br />

Note: To maximize conferencing performance,<br />

especially in high bit rate call environments, a 1Gb<br />

connection is recommended.<br />
