Connecting the cables to the RTM LAN:<br />

If RTM LAN or RTM ISDN cards are not installed on the <strong>RMX</strong>, they must be installed before<br />

connecting the additional network cables for media and signaling.<br />

If one LAN port per RTM ISDN/ RTM LAN card is used, up to two different IP Network<br />

Services can be defined - one for each installed RTM LAN/RTM ISDN cards.<br />

If two LAN ports per each installed RTM LAN card are used, up to four Network Services<br />

can be defined.<br />

Figure 15-5 shows the cables connected to the <strong>RMX</strong> <strong>2000</strong> rear panel, when two RTM LAN<br />

cards are installed providing IP connectivity. In this case, only one IP network Service can<br />

be associated with each RTM LAN card.<br />
