IP Network Service Definition<br />

Use this procedure to define Network Services in addition to the Network Service already<br />

defined during first entry installation and configuration. Each of the defined Network<br />

Service can be associated with one or more media cards installed in the system (depending<br />

on the system type).<br />

Once a media card is associated with a Network Service it cannot be associated with<br />

another network service.<br />

To add new/additional Network Services:<br />

1 In the Device Management pane, click IP Network Services ( ).<br />

2 In the Network Services list toolbar, click the Add Network Service button.<br />

The New IP Service - Networking IP dialog box opens.<br />

3 Define the following fields:<br />

Field Description<br />

Network Service<br />

Name<br />

Enter the IP Network Service name.<br />

Note: This field is displayed in all IP Signaling dialog boxes and can<br />

contain character sets that use Unicode encoding.<br />
