Appendix F-Secure Communication Mode<br />

Each of the <strong>RMX</strong> user types: Administrator, Auditor, Operator and Chairperson can be<br />

mapped to only one Active Directory Group or Role according to the customer’s specific<br />

implementation.<br />

— In Ultra Secure Mode there are only two user types: Operator and Administrator.<br />

— An <strong>RMX</strong> user that belongs to multiple Active Directory Groups is assigned to the<br />

Group with the least privileges.<br />

4 Map the <strong>RMX</strong> User Types, to their Active Directory roles by modifying the following<br />

fields.<br />

5 Click OK.<br />

Enter the IP address or DNS name of the Enterprise Directory Server<br />

(Active Directory).<br />

Port Select the Port according to the Authentication Protocol to be used:<br />

• 389 - NTLM over TCP<br />

• 636 - NTLM over TLS<br />

Search Base DN Enter the starting point when searching for User and Group<br />

information in the Active Directory.<br />

For example if the Domain Name is:<br />

mainoffice.bigcorp.com.uk<br />

The entry in this field should be:<br />

CN=Users,DC=mainoffice,DC=bigcorp,DC=come,DC=uk<br />

Authentication Type Only NTLM can be used.<br />
