Request to Speak is:<br />

• Activated when the participant enters the appropriate DTMF code (default: 99).<br />

The DTMF code can be modified in the conference IVR Service Properties - DTMF Codes<br />

dialog box.<br />

• Available for dial-in and dial-out participants.<br />

• A participant can request to speak more than once during the conference.<br />

• Supported in all conference types.<br />

• Supported in H.323 and SIP environments.<br />

• The duration of the icon display cannot be modified.<br />

Participant Alerts List<br />

Request to Speak<br />

The Participant Alerts list contains all the participants who are currently waiting for operator<br />

assistance.<br />

Participants are automatically added to the Participants Alerts list in the following<br />

circumstances:<br />

• The participant fails to connect to the conference by entering the wrong conference ID<br />

or conference password and waits for the operator’s assistance<br />

• The participant requests Operator’s Assistance during the ongoing conference<br />
