Chapter 21-System Configuration Flags<br />

The frequency with which a user can change a password is determined<br />

by the value of this System Flag. The value of the flag is the number of<br />

days that users must retain a password. It cannot be set to NO when<br />

the <strong>RMX</strong> is in Ultra Secure Mode.<br />

The length of the Chairperson password is determined by the value of<br />

this System Flag. It cannot be set to NO when the <strong>RMX</strong> is in Ultra<br />

Secure Mode.<br />

The length of the Conference password is determined by the value of<br />

this System Flag. It cannot be set to NO when the <strong>RMX</strong> is in Ultra<br />

Secure Mode.<br />

Enables the administrator to change the password expiration period of<br />

applcation-user’s independantly of<br />

regular users.<br />

Default: 365 (days)<br />

The display of a warning to the user of the number of days until<br />

password expiration is determined by the value of this System Flag.<br />

The earliest warning can be displayed 14 days before passwords are<br />

due to expire and the latest warning can be displayed 7 days before<br />

passwords are due to expire. It cannot be set to NO when the <strong>RMX</strong> is<br />

in Ultra Secure Mode.<br />

The number of passwords that are recorded is determined by the value<br />

of this System Flag. It cannot be set to NO when the <strong>RMX</strong> is in Ultra<br />

Secure Mode.<br />

Setting this System Flag to YES prevents automatic deletion of Cyclic<br />

Files such as Logger, CDR and Audit Event files.<br />

Must be added in system.cfg and set to YES when configuring an <strong>RMX</strong><br />

Serial Gateway S4GW.<br />

Default: NO<br />
