8 Login to the <strong>RMX</strong> using the Web Client, if you selected:<br />

— Standard Restore, the Fast Configuration Wizard appears. For more information, see<br />

the <strong>RMX</strong> 1500/<strong>2000</strong>/4000 Getting Started <strong>Guide</strong>, "Procedure 4: Modifying the Default IP<br />

Service and ISDN/PSTN Network Service Settings” on page 2-27.<br />

— Comprehensive Restore, requires initializing the First Entry Configuration<br />

procedures, as defined in the <strong>RMX</strong> 1500/<strong>2000</strong>/4000 Getting Started <strong>Guide</strong>, "Procedure<br />

1: First-time Power-up” on page 2-24.<br />

To Restore Factory Default Settings using the USB key:<br />

Restoring to factory defaults using the USB key method always results in a Comprehensive Restore.<br />

Obtain the RestoreToFactoryDefault.txt file from you next level of support and add it to the USB key.<br />

1 Insert the USB key in the workstation.<br />

2 Check that the lan.cfg file on the USB key contains the correct settings for the<br />

Management Network Service.<br />

3 Verify that the USB key called includes the RestoreToFactoryDefault.txt file.<br />

4 Power the <strong>RMX</strong> Off.<br />

5 Remove the USB key from the workstation and insert it in the USB port on the <strong>RMX</strong>’s<br />

back panel.<br />

6 Power the <strong>RMX</strong> On.<br />

7 In the <strong>RMX</strong> 1500/<strong>2000</strong>/4000 Getting Stared <strong>Guide</strong>, follow "Procedure 1: First-time Powerup”<br />

on page 2-24.<br />
