<strong>Polycom</strong> <strong>RMX</strong> 1500/<strong>2000</strong>/4000 Administrator’s <strong>Guide</strong><br />

5 If you have selected the By User File option, the Users List Import field is enabled. Enter/<br />

select the path to the AllowedUsers.txt file.<br />

6 In the Destination folder field, select the folder where the created configuration files will<br />

be stored.<br />

7 Optional for <strong>Polycom</strong> Support. Select the Debug Mode option to create the files with<br />

additional diagnostic information.<br />

8 Click the Start>> button.<br />

The system informs you that configuration files are created and prompts you whether<br />

to install these files now, on the current computer (Yes) or to stop the installation<br />

procedure (No).<br />

When <strong>Polycom</strong> configuration utility is run on the Office Communications Server or Lync Server and<br />

an incorrect FQDN was entered for the <strong>RMX</strong>, the system cannot resolve its name. In such a case,<br />

the process fails and an appropriate warning is displayed.<br />

Running the Configuration Files on the Office Communications Server/Lync<br />

Server<br />

9 If you have selected to create the configuration files on a PC and not on the Office<br />

Communications Server/Lync Server, select No to stop the installation process.<br />

a In such a case, copy the resulting files stored in the destination folder from the PC<br />

to the Office Communications Server/Lync Server.<br />

b Double-click the Setup file.<br />

The <strong>Polycom</strong> OCS Configuration Setup Wizard opens.<br />
