PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This account is accounted for separately and includes administrative sanctions collected from health facilities found to be in violation of statutes and regulations. The revenue from sanctions
vary from year to year, based on inspection findings and egregious events that are not predictable. Statutes authorize the division to use money in the fund for training and education to
employees of Public Health, employees of medical facilities, and members of the general public regarding issues relating to the provision of quality and safe health care.

This request continues funding operating costs. One-time expenditures have been eliminated and partial year costs have been annualized.
