JUDICIAL BRANCH - This section of the Judicial Branch activity budget reports budgetary items for judicial programs minus budgetary items associated with the
Foreclosure Mediation Program.
Division Budget Highlights:
1. Continuation of Constitutional, Statutory Mandates - The budget request for the
Judicial Branch continues funding the duties of the Supreme Court prescribed by the Nevada
Constitution. The budget request also continues funding judicial programs authorized by
statute.
2. Security - The budget request for the Supreme Court includes funding for the costs
authorized in NRS 2.295.
3. Civil Caseload - The budget request for the Supreme Court includes funding for two new
civil staff attorneys needed to deal with the court's civil caseload.
