PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Purchasing Division is responsible for procuring services and obtaining supplies, materials and equipment on behalf of state agencies and local governments in a timely and cost-effective
manner. Nevada State Purchasing ensures the procurement process provides an equal opportunity for all vendors to do business with the state. Staff handles state property disposal and
maintains an inventory of the state's fixed assets. Statutory Authority: NRS 333 and 334.
BASE
This request continues funding for twenty-four positions and associated operating costs. One-time expenditures have been eliminated and partial year costs have been annualized.
