PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The School of Medical Sciences provides a four year instructional program in the fields of family and community medicine, anatomy, laboratory medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and
gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, pharmacology, and other medical disciplines required for granting a medical degree. Residency training support facilities are located in Reno, Sparks, and
Las Vegas. Constitutional authority: Article 11, Section 4 and NRS 396.
BASE
This request continues funding for 180.49 positions and associated operating costs. One-time expenditures have been eliminated and partial year costs have been annualized.
