8. Core Infrastructure - Data Communications & Network Engineering receives funding to replace core infrastructure, including routers and switches that are
beyond their service life and therefore vulnerable to cyber attack and failure.
9. Microwave Site Battery Backup - Network Transport Services receives funding to replace battery plants and rectifiers at remote mountain top microwave sites
that are no longer charging to capacity.
10. Continuous Monitoring - Security receives funding for continuous monitoring of endpoints, servers and networks in order to efficiently keep state information
secure
11. Disaster Recovery - Funding has been provided for disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation across several critical operational areas; Security,
Computer Facility, and Data Communications & Network Engineering.
12. Replacement Equipment - The Computer Facility receives funding to replace equipment that is failing and beyond serviceable life and that is necessary to avoid
substantial service outages in statewide agency applications.
