LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL BUREAU - The Legislative Counsel Bureau is the non-partisan, central staff for the Legislature. The Bureau consists of the Legislative
Commission, an Interim Finance Committee, a Director, and five divisions (Administrative, Audit, Fiscal Analysis, Legal, and Research). The divisions are made up of
highly professional staff who provide a variety of services to legislators and the public. The design of the Bureau is intended to limit political pressure on its employees.
Employees are required to maintain neutrality and to not participate in partisan activities or groups.
