9. Habitat Funds Management - The Wildlife Habitat Division adds one Staff Specialist position to manage several of the department's funding sources, such as
Ruby Pipeline, mining assessments and energy development funds, and facilitate on the ground projects.
10. Sagebrush Ecosystem Team - The DCNR Director heads a key Governor's initiative establishing a 5-member multidisciplinary, inter-agency Sagebrush
Ecosystem Team (that includes Agriculture, Minerals, State Lands, and Forestry) to address the potential listing of the Greater Sage-grouse on the federal species
endangered list.
