Activity: Prison Industries
Prison Industries operates as a self-supporting operation, providing meaningful work and job
training for prison inmates in the production of goods and services, at little or no direct cost to the
taxpayer and assists the department by having inmates pay a portion of their earnings for room and
board, and a portion to the Victims of Crime fund.
