Activity: Prison Industries<br />

Prison Industries operates as a self-supporting operation, providing meaningful work and job<br />

training for prison inmates in the production of goods and services, at little or no direct cost to the<br />

taxpayer and assists the department by having inmates pay a portion of their earnings for room and<br />

board, and a portion to the Victims of Crime fund.<br />
