COMMISSION ON ETHICS - The Nevada Commission on Ethics (NCOE) strives to have all public officers and public employees uphold the public trust by
committing to avoid conflicts between their private and public interests.
Department Budget Highlights:
1. Add Senior Attorney - The Governor's Executive Budget includes a second attorney,
allowing proper due process by separating advocacy and adjudication functions between two
attorneys; and enabling the commission to meet its statutory mandates.
2. Court Reporting and Commission Travel - Sufficient funding has been included to
enable all commission hearings to be recorded and to allow Commissioners and staff to travel
to attend those hearings and perform other statutory work.
