CONTROLLER'S OFFICE - The Controller's Office mission is to advance accountability, continuity, and efficiency in the State's financial operations.
Department Budget Highlights:
1. Restore Assistant Controller Position - The Governor's Executive Budget restores the
Assistant Controller position in order to improve collection of debts owed to the State and to
provide oversight for adding a Treasury Offset Program and financial data matching.
Without this position, collections of debt owed the State have decreased.
2. Replace Obsolete Server - Existing servers are over 10 years of age. These servers are
needed to adequately support the State's IFS system and financial reporting capabilities.
Additionally, maintenance costs will be reduced by approximately $200,000 over the
biennium.
