Activity: Older Blind Services
The Older Individuals who are Blind (OIB) program serves the blind and or visually impaired
individuals age 55 or older with training to live independently and avoid institutionalization. Skills
training includes mobility and orientation, use of public transportation, individual care, and how to
utilize assistive technology.
