staff, the CBC shooting team recorded the Youth League member meeting <strong>of</strong> the<br />

undergraduate <strong>of</strong> the Year 2004 Branch, <strong>PKU</strong> Law School Youth League Committee.<br />

The meeting was held in the Student Activity Centre <strong>of</strong> the Law School. Director <strong>of</strong><br />

the organization department <strong>of</strong> <strong>PKU</strong> Youth League Zhang Xin, the Deputy Secretary<br />

<strong>of</strong> the <strong>PKU</strong> Youth League Law School Committee Mu Yin attended the meeting. The<br />

whole meeting included two agendas. The first one was the democratic appraisal.<br />

The nine candidates respectively gave an appraisal for themselves, and all the Youth<br />

League members and the delegating Party members held a free discussion on them.<br />

The second one is the democratic election. The candidates left, and all the Youth<br />

League members had a secret-ballot vote. After a strict process <strong>of</strong> monitoring the<br />

voting procedure and calling out the name who was voted, four out <strong>of</strong> the nine<br />

candidates were finally recommended to join in the CPC.<br />

The <strong>PKU</strong> Youth League School staff accompanied the shooting team to see the<br />

Olympic training camp <strong>of</strong> the Volunteers Association <strong>of</strong> <strong>Peking</strong> <strong>University</strong>. The theme<br />

<strong>of</strong> the training camp is ―Practice Etiquette & Spread Civilization—The Olympic<br />

Training Camp for Warming Up: Foreign Etiquette and Culture‖. About 30 volunteers,<br />

including students from Switzerland, Poland, Japan, and Kenya had a good<br />

communication on the knowledge <strong>of</strong> the etiquette <strong>of</strong> different countries.<br />
