Peking University, Beijing, December 18th: On 18th Dec, a delegation of 9 scholars
from Korea University, accompanied by Dr. Chu Chaohui from Beijing Central
Education and Research Department, visited the College of Education of Peking
University and had a talk with teachers and students.
The delegation includes Professor Shen Xuanshi, Dean of College of Education of
Korea University, Professor Yu Daoshan of College of Education of Korea University,
and some teachers who do research on courses and teaching, educational
psychology and educational technology. Professor Chen Xuefei, Executive Dean of
the College of Education of PKU, Professor Chen Hongjie, director of the
Department of Education and Human development, Professor Ma Wanhua, Mr.
JiangKai and Mr. Ding Yanqing from the same department also joined the talk.
During the talk, both parties shared their views on the academic issues of
internationalization of advanced education, the estimation of the development of
advanced education as well as the measures adopted by East Asian countries to
improve advanced education and raise competitiveness. At the same time, the
delegation of Korea University invited the teachers of College of Education of PKU to
Korea University to hold lectures and for exchanges. They promised to keep in touch
and share academic information for future cooperation.
