Survey Research on the developed use of Trichoderma in Bantul Regency<br />

The use of Trichoderma and the benefits of Trichoderma in suppressing moler disease was<br />

already disseminated and have been adopted by some farmers in Bantul Regency. The use of<br />

Trichoderma sp. that was produced by The Installation of Agricultural Plant Protection (BPTP) of<br />

Yogyakarta Special Province in Pandak District, Bantul Regency had been applied by some farmers in<br />

Bantul. The application of Trichoderma sp. to the soil was at the same time with organic fertilizer<br />

application, about 1-2 weeks before shallot planting. Trichoderma dosage was 100 g/50 kg organic<br />

fertilizer. Whilst the dosage of organic fertilizer that usually applied by farmers was 2.5 – 5 ton/ha.<br />

The results showed that in Trichoderma area, percentage of moler was 0.321% while in non-<br />

Trichoderma area was 6.415% (T
