What constitutes a healthy
localization department?

There are tools out there and also readily available blogs these days to
share ideas, concepts, stories of successful experiences to guide localization
departments in their usage of resources and time in project management,
resource management and finance management. The question
is then how do the current localization departments stay focus on their
purpose in achieving clarity of where they are going, which stage they
are in, and whether they have attained their desired goals.
To avoid being swamped by the abundance of solutions and thereby
blurring the line of wants and needs, it is therefore crucial to have clarity
into what really matters in the localization department.
