2. Organisation:<br />

The roles and responsibilities of the documentation team members and<br />

the other department members with reference to documentation are<br />

clearly laid out.<br />

The management gives high importance for the development of high<br />

quality customer documentations. This not only motivates the documentation<br />

team members but also increases the co-operation of other departments<br />

with the documentation team.<br />

What type of persons to hire, and from where - is a critical aspect for<br />

effective recruitment. We have identified the limits and also the options<br />

available to us for this. The profession of technical writing is not well<br />

recognised in India, especially in the field of mechanical engineering. The<br />

candidates are given a clear picture of their career prospects in this field.<br />
